@vortex681, thanks for the link. One thing I have to be aware of is VAS usage. I'm running P3D v3.4 and FSL ConcordeX. The recommended res is 1920*1080. People have tried UHD and run out of VAS because of the many 2D popup panels that eat VAS.

What sim are you running? And do you have Concorde?

After a recent clear out, I'm slowly reinstalling and, since Steam went in first (for other games), I currently just have FSX:SE and FSW as far as MS-based flight sims go - no Concorde, I'm afraid. I have ORBX England, several A2A, RealAir and Milviz aircraft, Active Sky Next, Opentrack and FS Force for my joystick. I've yet to have an OOM at QHD resolution and generally average about 40 FPS.

@vortex681, that’s good to hear but with respect those aircraft are pretty good on VAS. Being able to utilise my BenQ monitor for testing is useful. I might even take the PC downstairs and plug it into my 4K TV and try the ultimate test. 

I’ve  also found P3D gives me better FPS than FSX ever did.

Agreed, but that's all I have! You seem to have all the screens you need for a meaningful comparrison (or at least you will soon).

Indeed. The tests will be very interesting. I’ll post the results here of course.
