I just bought several Megascenery states during Easter Sale.Is it ok to install all Megascenery scenery on external hd or will this slow down performance? Thanks Ron

Yes.  It totally is.  I have over 1TB of photoreal scenery including some MSE stuff and they all exist on an external drive.  Performance is actually better than in autogen areas because the sim doesn't need to generate any of the autogen.

I also have a ton of MSE2 on a 2TB drive and fully concur. My 2TB drive is internal, but is a drive 100% dedicated to just scenery.
