April 5, 20188 yr I do not start the engines on the PMDG 777 from Cold & Dark, but use the 777 Default on the FMC. the engines start but I then get warning sound (a beep, beep,beep,beep...) but cannot see any alerts displayed. Have read the manual but cannot see any reason for this. Can any member assist please? Thank you Donald Leaton
April 5, 20188 yr Caution/warning/groundcall? Equipment cooling in OVRD, for example can trigger this alarm also ADIRU on BAT. Cheers Henrik K. April 5, 20188 yr Throttles idle? COULD be a take off config warning... and a lot more without having more precise information ,
April 10, 20188 yr Sounds like the T/O Config Warning to me. What position are your throttles in. Are they calibrated correctly?
April 17, 20188 yr If is was the TO configuration warning there would be an EICAS warning to go with it. The OP gets no EICAS indications. While the 777 is powering itself up systems make a number of sounds while they self tests. As the OP is using the default state the sim is already powered up but some of these sounds may still play as the sim starts. I suspect that is the beeping the OP hears. Just the simulation catching up with the panel state.
