April 20, 20188 yr Is anyone using the special REX textures for PTA. I'm confused. There is an install button yet it says not to install it, that PTA will do it? Not being sure which to do, I hit the install button (seemed logical), went to PTA and selected the preset. Looks like all went well, but, I noticed that the "installed" REX textures had not changed from what I had before. Can anyone shed some light on this? Been a while since I did this so I may be wrong but from what I recall installing the rex pta setting just creates a settings file. I think you still then need to go into PTA and open it and apply the settings yourself. P3D & X-Plane 11 - Videos and streaming @ V Special 1

They have their own custom PTA presets that would install to your PTA folder. You can then apply the preset manually through the PTA interface. The textures within REX would not be changed, only your shaders are changing. Eric i9-12900k, RTX 5070ti OC, 32GB ddr5 5600 RAM, 2TB 980 Pro SSD, Titan 240RX AIO, Samsung CRG90 49", Win 11

The sky textures are matched TO the preset. Tim FuchsManaging PartnerREX SIMULATIONS website: www.rexsimulations.comsupport: www.rexaxis.com
