April 25, 20188 yr That's true, but there's somewhat of a circle there. If the SDKs had better AI Traffic and ATC entries, then the sims would probably already have those capabilities readily available. Most of the AI Traffic developers are resigned to slewing their AI aircraft around and bypassing any internal logic in the sim itself. In both P3d4 and XP11, the AI Traffic can be designed to follow real world flight plans, approaches, departures and arrivals, so I guess there isn't much demand for changing the status quo. Personally, I would like to see the two sims have both those components upgraded, but the way the flightsim community is now is it's all about commercial developers. The days of users being satisfied with the base sim ended long ago.
April 26, 20188 yr LM just need to fix some incorrect priorities for ai parking. For eg parking airline code has the highest priority over parking type or size which messes up airport occupancy big time. You get to see all types of mismatched parking assignments like freighters going to passenger area and vice versa, small aircraft occupying a large spot, etc to satisfy the airline code assignment before anything else.
