In fsx, when I reach 33,000 feet, there are i think four pink parachute things that teleport themselves to the plane's position every few seconds.

Does anyone know what these are?

what you describe sounds like part of the Test package option. Check your FMC to turn that off. Perhaps that is what you are seeing.

What do you mean by "test package"? I am using the 737NGX without the Flight Test Package enabled, if that is what you mean.

yes, disable it, and see if the issue goes away

It is disabled, still there.

Describe them: where are they, what do they look like, where are they located - interior/exterior - and where in the interior/exterior are the located?

Sounds a bit like this flight/glide path thing that was coming with FS9 and its tutorial/flight lesson stuff with rod machado... no idea if it was still implemented in FSX but if yes it could be accidentally triggered, couldn‘t it?
