May 2, 20188 yr I am trying to add some objects to in Brisbane using Simdirector in P3D V4.2. I takes very long for Simdirector to load in the first place and once loaded it crashes to the desktop as soon as I place an object from the library. I am using ORBX products and the Australia region. I tried disabling all addons like AS and using default aircraft but the same thing happens every time. No error code. P3D just shuts down. Any advise would be appreciated. Johan Pienaar
May 2, 20188 yr I got crashes in P3DV4.2 w/o error or explanation because I had the CMeteoXmlx64.dll enabled in my dll.xml (there are two dll.xml's). When I disabled the entry in the dll.xml, crashes stopped. Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource! May 3, 20188 yr Did you check both dll.xml's? Never mind if you do not have any Carenado aircraft installed. Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource! May 4, 20188 yr Author Yes, hecked both. It looks like the problem is ORBX related, after I disabled the ORBX AU entries Simdirector worked fine, but that defeats the object a bit as I want to place the objects in Brisbane . Any other suggestions perhaps. Johan Pienaar
May 4, 20188 yr You might wish to post your question in the FTX/Orbx Forum here on AVSIM or the P3D Forum as you might get more responses from others who have attempted this in the past and might have a solution. Glad you were able to pinpoint the problem to the Orbx AU entries. Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource!
