AA setting in Fixer and MVInspector?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I'm testing Steve's DX10 fixer and I am not sure if I got the manual right. Do I have to set the AA-mode in Steve's Fixer and the NVInspector as well or only in the fixer or only in the NVInspector?
Many thx for your help and kind regards

Hi Dirk

Steve provides an excellent User Manual but there is also another excellent guide, "DX10 How To", at NZFsim which steps through all the Fixer settings and their counterparts in NVidia Inspector. As it says there:

Quote

"A one-stop step-by-step guide to setting up FSX in DX10 "preview" mode, using Steve's DX10 Scenery Fixer. Based on the original "How-to" Guide by Paul Johnson. Best used in conjunction with the Fixer "Read Me First" document."

I'm not at all PC technical but I think the answer to your question is "set in both" - more detail in the NZFsim document at page 5. I followed both documents very carefully and the difference in my sim was truly outstanding. Steve's Fixer was a revelation for me - hope you find the same.

Regards

Best regards

Rupert
