This screen-shot says it all.  I'm running Holger's freeware Glacier Bay 2 and I've reinstalled it. 

The priority in the Scenery library is correct Alaska Glacier Bay scenery above landscape.

I'd be grateful for advice on how to fix this. Thanks!

It looks like you have another scenery file for PAHN interfering but without textures. I would do a search for PAHN within you FS to check for duplicate scenery outside of GB.

Problem solved. The relevant textures were in FS9/FSAddon/GlacierBay.  I didn't realise the sim wouldn't read them from there. 

I copied them into FS9/texture, and the problem went away. 

That was easy!
