Help selecting Airlines on ADE and GSX

Hello, I am using ADE right now and am wondering what the "x" stands for after the airline code (ex, UALX, AALX). Could somebody tell me what this means? I don't know if it's a preferred symbol or regional symbol, or something completely different.
