July 13, 200619 yr I didnt have the problem with the older version, but do with the new one. It drove me nuts until I found out the problem. Now I just capture at 1024x768 and leave it at full, then edit it down to 720 x 480 for the final versions.
July 13, 200619 yr If it wasn't an issue with earlier versions, does anyone have a copy of the older stuff so I can capture at half size? Running at that res just isn't an option for me... - Aaron
July 14, 200619 yr I just checked the Support page on the FRAPS website:http://www.fraps.com/faq.phpThe first line: Pixelated/blocky capture with 84.xx Forceware drivers. Download fix in new official nVidia driver (91.31)I'm downloading the new driver as I write this. Will report findings....
July 14, 200619 yr Okay that was the problem.I can capture at 1280x960 at half size and have antialiasing again.Woot! :) Time to make my movie.
July 14, 200619 yr Unfortunately it didn't do didley squat for me. Guess I'm just out of luck... - Aaron
July 14, 200619 yr >I have recently begun playing with capturing video using>Fraps, but the odd thing is that it doesn't seem to be>capturing with antialiasing. In the sim everything looks great>at 8x, and it seems to record just fine, but when I play the>avi files back it's all full of jaggies like I'm not running>AA at all. July 14, 200619 yr If you know of any that don't use compression let me know. When I edit the final movies and render them, you lose more quality if the initial source is already compressed.
July 15, 200619 yr I'd love to search for alternatives, because obviously this isn't working for me... Would you care to enlighten me a bit on what else I could be using? - Aaron
July 19, 200619 yr Sorry for the delayed response here guys...Look here:http://www.planetgamecam.com/As for video editing Vegas is the way to go just stunning stuff :-)Andr André
