June 18, 20187 yr I use P3DV4.2 native VR, Oculus Tray Tool, and Oculus VR with Dash. I use the Dash function to project a small window inside the cockpit to display the gps. Lately, this window has started to randomly loosing the gps display and going to a blue screen. I can restore the gps display by stopping and restarting both the Tray Tool and Oculus VR programs. Anyone seeing this as well? Any ideas how to fix it? Danny Danny
June 18, 20187 yr Make sure you report this problem to the Oculus Forum : https://forums.oculusvr.com/community/categories/general The Oculus Tray Tool has a support thread there at the top. I have been reluctant to try Dash mainly because I am an old timer with just a DK2 and no Touch controllers. I have found the Tray Tool to be so important for P3Dv4.2 (I am flying both the QW787 and the VRS F-18 with AICarriers) but I also use it for Combat Air Patrol 2 (mainly for ASW control) and for DCS World as well as using the Performance HUD to experiment with performance options. June 19, 20187 yr Are you using 1.26 or 1.27 for Oculus Runtimes? Dave W. PC=9700K@5Ghz+RTX2070 VR=HP Reverb| Software = Windows 10 | Flight SIms = P3D, CAP2, DCS World, IL-2, Aerofly FS2
June 20, 20187 yr That is the latest - and does it still have this same problem: losing the GPS display? Dave W. I think I saw your problem post - here is another one that sounds like the same thing: https://forums.oculusvr.com/community/discussion/66162/pinned-windows-from-rift-core-2-0-dash-turn-to-desktop-image-color-eventually Edited June 20, 20187 yr by whitav8 PC=9700K@5Ghz+RTX2070 VR=HP Reverb| Software = Windows 10 | Flight SIms = P3D, CAP2, DCS World, IL-2, Aerofly FS2
