I keep seeing this thing pop up from time to time and I'm not sure exactly what it is and what add-on installed this? Is this safe for P3D v4?

It is very safe and without it you might be screwed quickly. Actually I don't know what it does exactly but it somehow brings together the different Autogen configurations of the different developers. In the past, one was overwriting the other, whoever got installed last, was the winner. I know for sure, that Godzone and JustSim are using it for their sceneries.
