After installing the V4.3 Client, Content and Scenery my Control Panel > Programs and Features shows the following versions:

                                          Prepar3D v4 Content                       4.3.29.25520

                                          Prepar3D v4 Professional                4.2.21.24048

                                          Prepar3D v4 Professional Client      4.3.29.25520

                                          Prepar3D v4 Scenery                       4.3.29.25520

After launching the sim the Help > About Lockheed Martin screen also shows  4.3.29.25520.

Shouldn't the second listed program (v4 Professional) also match the other version numbers? Did I get something wrong in my install procedures or is this somehow correct? Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Jesse

It may be because you have installed the different parts separately. I think the one, which shows a lower version, is for the full installation routine... since the different components is installed separately, it shows it like that.

Windows is weird that way...

This is of course just a guess on my part...

Anders is correct. The last FULL INSTALLER you ran is the second item. The others are just for the individual installers. If you were to run the full installer, the numbers would update.

Thanks very much for your quick responses guys. That's very helpful.

Now I'm just puzzled that it shows 4.2 'cause I don't remember running the full installer at that time. But, then, at my age I don't remember a lot of things. 😉

Thanks again,

Jesse
