Slide off runway when throttle up for Take Off

Featured Replies

I apologize ahead of time if this has been asked and answered. I half remember something about this about a year ago, but could not find anything in a search...I have Prepar 3Dv4.  Recently, using PMDG 777, when I throttle up on a runway the aircraft starts pulling right to the point it very quickly exits the runway.  I have tried different airports, runways...even tried to engage the autopilot on the ground to try to keep the track straight.  My Logitech Extreme 3D Pro can in no way compensate for the extreme pull.  Any ideas?

Thank you in advance. cwdmr

Are both engines at equal thrust or do you a have asymmetric thrust condition? Check to make sure your brake axis for one side isn’t engaged. Also look in the failures menu of the FMC and see if something is broken like a brake or tire

Recalibrating your yoke, throttles and rudder pedals should do the trick.

I had this same problem, every thing that was recommended by those in the group didnt work. Out of trial and error, I disabled P=Torque (which I was told could not solve it), and to my surprise, that resolved it for me. So you may want to consider that.

PS: I know this seems improbable, but it did work for me.

Thank you all for your responses.  I re-calibrated my yoke, and to my delight it works now!!! Not sure how it got so terribly out of wack, but not going to waste much energy on that puzzle...Thanks again!
