July 21, 20187 yr Evening, All! Is the new C-130 that comes standard with v4.3 the Captain Sim model? If so, then can other C-130 models they made (especially the special variants like the L-100, AWACS, etc) be merged with the v4.3 C-130's VC/panel? Shane Reilly Prepar3D & X-Plane 11
July 21, 20187 yr This will put the GTN750 into the VC of the J model. Makes it Easier to navigate for sure. [VCockpit09] size_mm=256,256 pixel_size=1024,1024 texture=$C130_radar background_color=0,0,0 gauge00=F1GTN!GTN750VC,22,22,200,195,UNIT1 Marty Baclawski
July 22, 20187 yr But how do you port the models into P3D? copy them from FSX and they will work? By the way, do the guns fire in the spectre version for you guys? They did in FSX, but the weapons panel won't arm them or fire them in P3D, for me anyway? July 22, 20187 yr Author @simaddict If the gauge for the AC-130 Weapons-firing is for 32-bit (FSX), it should not work in v4.3. I haven't tried it for P3D yet, but from porting over old FS04 models to FSX (and doing other model stuff like that), you'd add all of the model files from the FSX C-130 to the new v4.3 C-130 and edit model, panel, and aircraft cfg's to reference the v4.3 C-130's panel. July 22, 20187 yr Thanks, Shane. Just wonder why LM didn't include all variations, but I'll follow your instructions! Mike CyberPowerPC - Gamer Supreme Gaming Desktop - AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D - 64GB Memory - AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB - 4TB PCIe 4.0 SSD
