August 5, 20187 yr Hi, My F.O. doesn't set flaps and also doesn't retract although he is indicating he does. Initially I thought it was noise by my flaps axis, so I disabled but it doesn't seem the cause. Before taxi I do dail-a-flap myself, 11, otherwise I get a config warning during take off. Please advise, Egbert P3D V4.3 Edited August 5, 20187 yr by Egbert Drenth Location: Vleuten, The Netherlands, 17.3dme SPL 108.40 | Simulator: FS2024 System: AMD 7800X3D - Gigabyte X670 - RTX 4090 - 64GB DDR5 - 2 x 2TB SSD - 32" 1440p Display - Windows 11 Pro
August 6, 20187 yr Commercial Member Hi Egbert, Assuming you're following the manual, the only thing it can be is interference from your hardware. Check it again. Also do a forum search on this subject as a few others had it. Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
August 12, 20187 yr Author The FO now sets flaps, but still doesn't dail a flap. Who is responsible for dailing flaps 11? Me or the FO? Or should I use flaps 15 for TO? August 13, 20187 yr Commercial Member I'd have to double check the code, but I recall that if you want to use "Dial A Flap" for takeoff you need to manually set the desired Dial A Flap value in the aircraft itself, then the FO will set the selected Dial A Flap at the end of the After Start Checklist.
