Linda keeps disconnecting from fsxse

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have the Saitek switch panel, i have configured all the buttons in Linda, it doesn’t connect to fsuipc for some reason but it seems like it works(worked) anyways. At the start everything worked, but now for some reason the Saitek switch panel keeps disconnecting, first the landing gear lights turn off,(normal I guess). But after that i can’t use any buttons, the only fix is restarting Linda, then it works 2 minutes and it all happens again. Please help

thank you

philip

This sounds like the Windows power management is disconnecting the Saitek Switch Panel USB to save power. You need to use Windows Device Manager to locate the panel under HID devices and turn off the Enhanced Power Management.

Mmmm, I did that but it didn’t work, I have a new problem where the switch panel doesn’t connect at all, the only thing that happens is that the landing gear lights are flashing red, green and no lights... just like if it’s rptrying to connect...

The rotating green/red landing lights means LINDA GUI is connected to the Switch Panel indicating that you need to operate a switch to register its current state. If it does not respond to a switch operation then the power management issue could require attention. It is a flaw in Windiw 10 that does not like connecting to high power USB devices. I would to see the verbose logging in fsuipcX.log to assist you further.
