Weather Radar Test

Hi,

I am trying to use the WEATHER RADAR TEST SWITCH, but only get the following display on the ND:

"WXR TEST" in orange and TEST  -2A in blue, but no colored sweep lines. The duration of the ND display (wxr test and test -2A) is very short (approx 3-4 sec). I believe that the sweep takes longer than the duration of the weather radar test. Sometimes a 45 degree colored sweep can be seen.

Anyone know if there is a adjustment for the weather radar test duration?

I test every flight... always works.  WXR has to be on, I usually do the test after leaving ramp while taxiing.

tried it again it it works today. Most likly operator error/fat finger etc.

Hi Juergen.  There isn't for the pilot.
