C-47 Skytrain - how to open the cockpit door?

Recommended Posts

v3.14  is great but I'm trying to figure out how to open the cockpit door?

The manual mentions 3 doors - pax, cargo and paratrooper but the 2D panel lists 4 doors.

I'm guessing the cockpit opens with door 3 button but nothing is happening?

I don't think the cockpit door opens.  I've never seen it open.

If you are talking about the crew door on the port side, just aft and below the cockpit, it is not animated.

Yes, they call it the front cargo door within the manual. I'm a bit surprised they didn't animate this to open.

So does anyone know what the Door 3 button does in the 2D Shift panel?

Read the incuded documentation? Look at the aircraft.cfg to see how many doors are defined? Look at the switch's code?
