CTD NTDLL.dll

For some reason, twice now over the last week I get a CTD with P3Dv4.3 while using the latest LINDA module with VRi MCP2 and the latest FSLabs A320 module. It happens after the flight has gone on for some time it appears. Last night I was using the MCP just fine but what was weird was as I passed through 10k I hit a button that I have programmed to turn on the landing lights. As soon as I hit the button, CTD with the ntdll.dll as the faulting module. Now I had just used it a few minutes prior so I don't think its and issue of the the USB going to sleep. I know this is primarily a memory corruption issue with this type of CTD. The previous time was when I went to move the dial to change course, as soon as I touched the dial and moved it on the MCP2, CTD with ntdll.dll error. Has anyone had this before and suggest some fixes?

I have not experienced or had any reports of issues with LINDA, P3Dv4.3 and/or FSLabs A320X causing a CTD. I suggest you try to eliminate the possible causes by flying the same scenerio without LINDA and with another aircraft with and without LINDA.

Flown the PMDG stuff with no issues. I think for some reason, under certain circumstances LINDA and the FSL A320 module are causing a problem. I'm pressing something on the MCP2, LINDA reads it and sends the command to P3D/FSL Airbus and there is some sort of error where the FSL for whatever reason doesn't process it correctly and hence the ntdll.dll CTD. When the sim looks for something and doesn't find it this memory corruption error causes this CTD.

But, just in case:

Scott, don't know if you would have any idea on this but would you know what a bad MCP2 would show if it's starting to go bad? Have you ever had one go bad? I don't think it's hardware related though.

I fly the Bus a lot and do not experience any crashes!

Think about that the Bus stresses your system way more then the PMDG planes do. So, if there is any fault, then maybe, because parts of your system are too stressed, because there's some issue.

I would also consider that you have probably a faulty RAM module, but that is just speculation. But I had similar issues many years ago.

You could "simply" test it, when you make flights without LINDA, without MCP … or, you download Prime95 and test your system. If Prime95 fails, there's sth. faulty on your PC

Good luck
