I just purchased and installed the PMDG 777 ER,  But I cannot locate any manuals that might have come with it.  Are any manuals supplied with the ER?  And if so, where are they located?  I am probably missing something very simple and this is probably a stupid question...

Or should I just follow the same procedure as the basic 777-200?

It is the same documentation as for the 200, there are real world manuals for the 300 series available online through various hosts.

PMDG provide an excellent manual which is just like the one you’d find in the real world and it covers the 77W.
