What if that conflicts with another thing I'm running that is waiting for the '1' button? The Airbus Pro does... Can I change the button that brings up the ATC menu? Gaz How does Moses make his coffee? Hebrews it. I took the shell off my racing snail, thinking it would make him run faster. If anything, that made him more sluggish. Gaz on Facebook

Gaz You should read the manual, all info is in there.
August 31, 20187 yr Moderator Gaz - The reason we are telling you to read the manual is simple. Without some familiarity with the overall procedures for the program, each answer to one of your questions will bring up two more questions. You have several videos and the manual. Work through them and if you hit a specific stumbling block ask away. There are some addons that you can essentially plug and play with no further action - PATCX is not one of these. So, again, read the manual and ask if you don't understand something. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

That someone was wrong (1 is the default key to ask something (first contact), 2 is the default key to reply and 3 is Say again) and yes, you can change all keys using the options page of Pro ATC. Might be a good idea to at least have a look at them...? Sounds like you didn't even open the options menu at all yet! 😉 A lot of it is pretty much self explanatory, even without reading the manual you can come pretty far. You would have seen for instance that you can let ProATC take care of the radio's, amongst others. And that you can change all buttons. Most of your questions wouldn't have to be asked if you simply looked at the options. 😉

Or the other option is to read the manual.

It wasn't my advice to skip reading the manual! ;) But even when he had looked at the options quite a few questions would have been answered already. I am all for reading manuals. In fact, I read all manuals I can get my hands on. I even read EVERYTHING there is on SmartCockpit about the Q400. I seriously miss the days when games were delivered with an actual 350 page manual...
