August 31, 20187 yr I had a major problem with P3D and it decided to go on strike and would just not start. Eventually, the only thing left to do was to re-install the whole thing.( I had tried all the recommended actions). That got it working again and all scenery, airports, GSX are now working. The only thing not working is RC4. The program works but when I try to connect (start), nothing happens. There is no Radar Contact message window. I think it may be a simconnect problem but I don't know how to fix it. Everything worked perfectly before the problem. FSUIPC is v5.14 Edit. The program is working in the background, if I press the usual keys, I get the correct expected response. The problem is, there is no visual prompt, so I can't see what is required. August 31, 20187 yr A number of older add-ons need the SimConnect versions from FSX, which, when installed, coexist with each other in Windows' Side-by-Side libraries. This is done by running the SimConnect.msi installers for (in order) FSX, FSX-SP1, and FSX-SP2-XPACK, which all can be found in their respective subdirectories in <your P3Dv4 root directory>\redist. The .msi files are in the \retail\lib\ subdirectory of each of the applicable versions. Not sure if this is the cause of your problem, but it seems possible. Otherwise, I'd check with Pete Dowson in his FSUIPC support forum.
