September 1, 20187 yr Love flying out of Bend, I stayed in Bend in 2013 and drove atop a small mountain on a spiral road to a city overlook that overlooks some of the Cascade volcanoes in these screenshots. From Bend I drove across the Cascades to Salem, where I stayed so I could visit Silver Falls State Park with its lovely hidden waterfalls, and I used Salem as a base to drive to Olympic Park in Washington the next day, though I did not quite make it back to my hotel there, I had to rent another room just over the border from Portland, in Washington, because I felt too tired to drive on and I did not want to drive impaired thus. The Cascades are a beautiful piece of America, my lovely ex wife finally told me she got to go there twice, and with my daughter this year for her high school graduation, she drove from Phoenix to Crater Lake, featured in a few of my screenshots.
