Preventing Communication with GSX/Ground Grew

Team,

Is there a setting that prevents MCE from communicating with GSX/Ground crews?  When I start MCE, it states "high my name is x, let me know...", while simultaneously opening the GSX screen. I'd like to avoid this paradigm...

Use this option in "mce.ini"

[RAMP]

NoGreeting=1

With the above setting, will the ramp agent announce his/her name?. And only suppress the launching of the GSX dialogue?

He will just refrain from introducing himself to you every time you start MCE and engines happen to be OFF., something a few users don't like to hear.

He won't do anything unless you request a GSX service.

If you don't want to use GSX at all, click <More options> in "General" tab of the MCE UI and select "Use AES" option in "Advanced Options" panel, even if you don't have AES.

Hi Gerald - I did the setting, it works the ramp agent does not do the intro, but also now does not announce the completion of boarding handing loads her etc..

The latter was very useful, could we only suppress the initial greeting and not the completion at the end ?.
