Taxi route error

Featured Replies

Sorry, yet another question/issue.

I was parked at G12 at EGGD and requested taxi and received a dialog box that said:-

"Taxi route error Taxi route was not calculated. If you have clearance to taix, just taxi at pilot discretion."

What does this error mean and also take note of the typing error in the dialog box?

Thanks for catching the typo.  It's fixed for the next release.

The error indicates that, for whatever reason, the program could not calculate a good route from your current position to the destination.  This is usually caused by missing Taxiway segments that prevent reaching the destination.

So, instead of getting the taxi route laid out on the map, you can use the map to figure out the best route and take that.
