PMDG smooth cockpit control animations

Featured Replies

Hello everyone!

Had a quick question and was curious if anyone knew the answer to it. One thing I love about the B744 is how the flaps and gear lever in the cockpit have a smooth animation. For example, when you move the gear up, it's not like the ngx or 777 where it pulls out, pauses, goes up, then pushes back in with no animation feature. I know this is a small thing but was curious if there was any idea of importing this into the 777 or ngx. I understand the ngx may not have this update as they're making the ng3 but I was still curious.

Thanks!

I raised this issue in another post.. The flap and gear animations are so fluid on the 747 and the 777 product line needs to catch up with this..

Also, both the 747 and 777 products are still not using dynamic vc lighting yet.. Will be nice to see that..

Yeah. Hoping that the 777 update with rainmaker compatability will have this. I know it's small but it's the smallest details that you really appreciate. You know?

Can't imagine this kind of thing won't be visited when the EFB/Rainmaker updates roll around.
