Weird.

The game crashed yesterday but without an error message.

Today I got an error message saying that "msvcr80.dll" is the problem.

You probably should bite the bullet and check the sim works first without add-ons or adjustments. Which means a stock sim and using a stock plane and no settings turned up to max and no assumptions about added software which can add up to failure, not because it's faulty - there's a million possibilities to stop anything where these sims are concerned. Reinstalls generally result in the same behaviour due to picking up old settings and files not cleaned properly before re-installing.

My graphics settings are set to ULTRA because I think my PC is capable of withstanding this. With other games (Xplane 11) I do not have this problem.

FSX-SE is a 32-bit application and is subjected to the limitations of Virtual Address Space (VAS).  Microsoft Windows 10 only gives you 4 GB's of VAS.  With high settings in FSX-SE, you will run out of VAS eventually.  If you use max autogen, probably within an hour and a half.  I did it in less than 20 minutes with max autogen and a flight from Richmond, VA to Wash Dulles, with in the F-16 with acceleration set to 4X's.

X-Plane is a 64-bit application and Microsoft Windows 10 has no limitations on VAS (I think there is a limit if you use more than 7TB but who has a HDD that big?).  You will not crash because you simply have tons of space to run your 64-bit application.

VAS is not memory like in RAM.  You could have 164 GB's of Memory Modules installed and you could still run out of VAS.

The graphics settings were set to very small, the game has this time directly crashed.

Later I flew with the default A321. The game has also crashed.

Slowly I'm really desperate. 😞

Do you have tips on how to delete everything about FSX from my hard drive?

This guide is for FSX, but they are very similar in folders - https://support.precisionmanuals.com/kb/a87/how-to-uninstall-and-reinstall-fsx.aspx

After uninstalling, I would run a registry cleaner, like Advanced System Care or Ccleaner.  Be careful with cleaners as you only want the temporary files and registry cleaned and not your system history, cookies, etc.

The dll belongs to Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 w/SP1.  Used by developers to install their products properly.  Most likely not a problem with FSX but an add-on is not installed properly.  See the AVSIM CTD Guide and the AVSIM FSX Configuration Guide for more info and links to the files.

I have now really everything that has to do with FSX deleted.

Appdata FSX folder, even the folders that were not displayed, all addons have cleaned up the system with the CC Cleaner and again this error message appears:

(It is in German,  MSCTF.dll error)

What should I do...
