FSX-SE Runway Announcements

Can someone please tell me how to turn off the runway announcements that I hear when aligned on the runway?  I'm running FSX-SE.  Is the announcement specific to a particular aircraft or system wide?

Sounds like RAASPRO for FSCrew (see their forums here at AVSIM).  RAASPRO can be turned on or off by clicking on the FSX Addon Menu, click on RAASPRO and turn it on or off (or configure).  PMDG provides it free with some of their aircraft.

I don't have FSCrew installed but I found a reference to RAASPRO.dll in my fsx-se.cfg file.  I don't know where this is located in FSX-SE.  The sound is annoying since I know where I am.  Suggestions?

OK, I solve the problem.  Seems like I downloaded RAASP when I bought FSX-SE.  I deleted the entry in the dll.xml file and the problem is gone.

FSX-SE does not install it.  It comes with a PMDG aircraft and you can then go to FS Crew and upgrade to the Pro version.  But, disabling the entry in the dll.xml will silence it.
