b747-8 EFB

Hi, once I use EFB set-up of all needed parameters, is there a way how to send to FMC ? (the icon stays unusable even all is CALCed…) ?

Jan,

If you are talking about the SEND OUTPUT button, in the real EFB it is used to send the output to the aircraft printer, this is why it is not implemented. It is not sending anything to the FMS. The FMS makes it's own computations of V-speeds and works independently of the EFB.

The only "unrealistic" feature we have added to the EFB for your convenience is the option to send (or read) Weight & Balance data to the aircraft (not the FMS).

...for what purpose...?

Not to be rude, but this seems a bit like modeling the ability to jump into the lav and tear off sheets of bath tissue...

I'd pay another $70 for that feature in the 748
