Do any GA apart from Aerobask these days come with rain effects? There was a time when quite a few planes had them in XP (even Carenado) but alas not any more it seems. A retrograde step surely ? Fingers crossed this new Lancair will have them.

Carenado seems to think that Laminar might integrate rain effects in the future. Laminar has flirted with the idea but they move at a snails pace. I wonder if we will get some rain in CA this year!? It's not normal, I grew up here! When it's supposed to rain it does not or it rains very little and when you look up (tinfoil-Hat) heavy contrails preceding forecasted rain!

Hope this version is as good or better than my sorely missed Realair version.

I still fly P3D v4 so I've got mine :)  But yeah, I'm hoping it's a solid release.  As for rain I think that some devs are going to use the "Toto" upcoming TBM900 rain effects.  Here's his effects on the already released AFM Mooney series...

edit:  Also, yoyo confirmed at the org forums that they WILL do a Reality XP GTN 750 mod - thankfully one of the devs still uses Windows lol

Ryan that’s most interesting, do you have a link to some info on that rain tech? Google was not my friend when I tried trawling the web.

Well, coming from SkunCrafts I'll seriously consider this one, even if GA'a aren't my preference …

Their P51d is already my preferred prop aircraft EVER! in X-Plane.
