August 31, 200619 yr After closing all switches I am still listening to the audible beeper on spooling up the engines for takeoff. It continues untill the wheels leave the ground.Anyone with any ideas? Thanks in advance. Dave Taylor
August 31, 200619 yr Commercial Member A beeper! :-)What panel state did you load the 727 in and at what point did the "beeper" begin? Cheers Paul Golding
August 31, 200619 yr Engines running and opening the throttles more than 50%?And yes, generators, yaw damper, flaps and trim was set as it should be.I'm not the only one that has this problem. Dave Taylor
August 31, 200619 yr Author I guess it's the Apu still running. Shut it off before takeoff and your beeper is gone. Rune B.
September 1, 200619 yr Is your trim in the green arc on the throttle pedestal? Mine always starts up with the trim not on the green arc, and I get what you describe if I don't adjust it correctly.Bruce. ASEL, Instrument. KBJC, Colorado.
September 1, 200619 yr You can't take off with the APU running in the 727, if the APU's still on you'll get the takeoff configuration warning beeper. The APU intake is in the right main gear well so you wouldn't want to close the gear doors while it's running, hence the warning. That's what I would think of at first glance, assuming the trim was in the green band and the flaps were set to 5 or 15 degrees.Lewis "Moose" GregoryRichmond, Virginia Lewis "Moose" Gregory Durham, North Carolina

November 6, 200619 yr Commercial Member Not in FSX, that's for sure:-( Soon though, we are working on it.....along with a few other things like the Dreamfleet DC-8 and this amazing Flight 1 A400M ;-)Actually, if anyone was at the German FS show a few weeks ago, they may have seen the FSX 727 and the 2d panel equiped DC-8 with something like 5 different forward panel views. Cheers Paul Golding

November 6, 200619 yr Commercial Member >I hope that your A400M is better than the 'chocolate teapot'>Wilco version? Now you know that it'd be inappropriate for me to comment, but I imagine creating something at the request of (and with the assistance of) the actual manufacturer will have it's advantages ;-)>Now how about that 'C-17'?:-)Like I said above :-) Cheers Paul Golding
November 6, 200619 yr Commercial Member >will the DC-8 be in FS9???By the time the DC-8 is ready, I imagine FS9 will just a memory. In all seriousness, if there's that much demand for it to be FS9 compatible, I suppose we'd have to look closely at doing just that. However, I would think that'd involve making an FSX product compatible with FS9, rather than making a specific FS9 product i.e. there's no more 2d side views in FS, so they'd be unlikely to appear in a version that is compatible with FS9.As I said, we'll see ..... nothing is cast in stone, apart from the 2d forward view panels ;-)Greatest Airliners - DC-8Greatest Airliners - 727 Whisperjethttp://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...BANNER_PAUL.jpg Cheers Paul Golding
