November 11, 20187 yr Hello, when I fly longer flights, I usually take-off, climb to cruise, then go away and do something, returning at top of descent to do the rest of the flight. Is there a way to do this and pick up ATC comms when I return at TOD? Reading the forum it doesn't look like there's an option (yet) for the co-pilot to take over comms, but if I were to just stop talking to ATC would that create issues or would I be able to pick it up again when I return?
