Hi all ,

i was looking to purchase a Decent gaming pc for under 900£ to play p3d on ( recently used my laptop and it was very laggy). I was wanting to buy a second hand one from eBay about a year old with

i5 8600k

Gtx 1060 6gb

16g ddr3 ram

ASU’s motherboard

I was wondering if these specs are good enough to run p3d ( with aircraft such as aero soft a320 , aseosoft airports , weather (active sky) and orbx )

If this isn’t good enough could u recommend any brand new pcs to run p3d on ?

or would it be better to buy a brand new pc with Same specs and an i5 8400

My spec are in my sig.  My spec run P3D and Xplane11 well.  Traffic is the only thing that hurts performance, too much of it, in P3D.  In Xplane11 traffic has zero impact.  I have an i7, which might matter in terms of performance.  I have have the ram and VRAM as your proposed system.

That would be a good system for P3D.  The 8600K would do very well.  I would want a little more GPU but if u were easy on your eye candy settings it will be fine.

We also need to know the screen resolution, and number of monitors that you intend to use. Since you recently used a laptop, I am guessing that you will be using a single monitor.
