December 18, 20187 yr Just ordered two since shipping is free Cheers, Rob. EDIT: ugh no EK waterblocks yet ... Edited December 18, 20187 yr by Guest
December 18, 20187 yr No it doesn't ... recommend 650 WATT PSU with TDP of around 280 WATT ... but even if it did, we have three 220V outlets in home 🙂 (EV charge station, laundry dryer, TIG welder) ... and the TIG is sold now. Cheers, Rob.
December 18, 20187 yr With free shipping... that's a bargain!!! 😁 I had a feeling you would pick these up. Looking forward to your impressions.

I myself would feel weird buying one of these, since I could only chalk such a purchase simply for gaming use as pure ostentatiousness on my part. We are all connected..... December 19, 20187 yr "Value" can only be assessed thru the eye of the beholder. I was kidding about buying two of these Titan RTX ... however, I seem to be back to having issues with my two 2080Ti in SLI mode which is frustrating (is it the driver, is it P3D, is it Win10 1809, is it something else?) ... so I may end up getting just one Titan RTX and sell the 2080Ti FE's with waterblocks. Cheers, Rob.

I suspect HBM2 based cards will be out next year and we can do away with DDR6 ... lets hope nVidia go with 16GB configurations as these 11GB configs just don't seem to make much sense to me ... having pulled the coolers off and going over the PCB, you can see the empty space where a memory chip should be ... just seems weird why nVidia didn't put another one in for the 2080Ti? Even a single 2080Ti stomped all over two 1080Ti in SLI. Cheers, Rob. Edited December 23, 20187 yr by Guest
December 23, 20187 yr Author Hah, you weren't really going to buy two RTX Titans, were you? How do you presently use more than 11 GB VRAM? Wait, maybe I don't want to know.
