EXTERIOR AI AIRCRAFT LIGHT PROBLEM

Recommended Posts

Hello,

sometime during the last month, the AI exterior lights have had a major change.

the landing lights, strobes and position lights are now very large and round. it is very unrealistic.

any idea what is causing this?

This is how P3D default effects looks like.. Specially when you don't run your system on 4k.

I have a freeware that corrects this, check my website.

I don't run 4k and Nav lights look horrendous by default (UTL), but thanks to Simbol/FS Reborn they look great, thank you.

I ran your mod way back last year but forgot to thank you back then. So I thought I better put that right.

One word of caution: if you installed the FLAI package, this will also include a novel set of effects that do not look nice or comparable to what you get using FS Reborn Free Edition. I stumbled on this detail (thanks to the hint from Simbol) when installing FLAI to complement my AI traffic, now I deactivated the add-on.xml of FLAI and all effects are back to normal.

I mention this because the topic starter wrote that something changed in the last month...
