Start Problems with Bill's mods in P3D 4.4

Featured Replies

Since upgrading from P3D 4.3 to 4.4, I'm no longer able to start the 441 using whamil77 and he seems to be unavailable.

If I disable his engine xml file, I get the normal Carenado/Alabeo start.  Just get a hung start at around 30% with Bill's mod.  See the same issue on the 690B.

Anyone else with the issue?

cheers,

steve

Steve,

I haven't had the chance to upgrade P3D to 4.4 yet.  When I do, I'll take a look at the problem.

Sorry,

Bill

Hey Bill!

Thanks so much and welcome back.

steve

Yep....   They messed with engine fuel flows in 4.4.  I will have to re-balance start fuel flows to get the TPE331s to start correctly.  I hate it when they do that because it takes a great deal of time to get the sequence right.  I don't know when I'll have time to do it.  Sorry......

No problem. There’s so much more in your mods than just the start behavior.

Cheers,

Hi Bill,

Mainstream choice of aircfarft fo rme too. Been enjoying your Carenado B350i -67A mod for a year now.

I guess as you say, you have not updated it to v4.4 yet.

My question was in v4.4 the brakes seem ineffective and I can't stop the plane at all when taxiing.. Is there a mod to the cfg I can do to increase brake effectiveness?

Kind regards,

Ray
