January 10, 20197 yr This rescue was amazing with the blades very, very close to the mountain to rescue an injured skier - https://www.euronews.com/2019/01/09/watch-extraordinary-helicopter-rescue-in-the-french-alps I especially liked the ending where it looked like the helicopter was going to leave without the guy recording the video and a police officer. January 10, 20197 yr Inspiring! Pilot must have practiced extensively in similar conditions and maybe also with minor snow contact to practice reaction. Unless they have a great sim with realistic snow I don't know of! Can't see him doing the same with a bare rock face. Much respect to the pilot here for some reason I want to fly that chopper in the sim now... I'm sold! Russell Gough SE London
