January 12, 20197 yr I am unable to open the configuration panel for the GTN 750 by Shift right click the top edge. January 18, 20197 yr Hi Richard, Do you mean nothing happens when right clicking the top-edge while depressing the SHIFT key? To further help: with a bezel, this is more or less the area between the top of the screen and the top of the bezel, otherwise when screen only (nobezel), this is 1/8 of the screen from the top. When hovering in the correct area the mouse tooltip displays: "SHIFT+Click: Resize (left) / Settings (right)" Besides, what do you mean with "unable to use DTO or HOME buttons"?
January 18, 20197 yr Author Using no bezel. When right clicking I get the various view menus wherever I click on the GTN. However I have re installed the panel configuration mod from Bills511 and now I am able to get a pop up when I left click the edge of the GTN. I can then ( on the pop up) get the configuration screen. I am still unable to have the home or DTO buttons work on either screen (pop up or original) but not a big deal One other question is with the update 2.5 11 . When extracted do I run the complete installer again and assume it overwrites the original in my system? TIA Richard Richard Mawkes Intel Core i7 7700 4.2GHz, , Kingston Hyper Fury Black 16GB 2400MHz DDR4 Asus Geforce GTX 1070 8GB Dual Fan edition
January 18, 20197 yr Yes, our updates are released as full e-commerce enabled installers and overwrite older files with new ones.

TIA Richard Richard, I have a fully functional RXP GTN 750 in the Comanche panel, complete with touch screen pop up controlled with right mouse click, and with fully functional knobs and keys/buttons. It does take some additional work with the RealityXP.GTN.ini file that resides in the Comanche's main folder; with the panel.cfg file in the Comanche's panel folder; and requires positioning an .xml file in a new subfolder of the panel folder. There is also a setting included that provides a closer match of screen brightness between the VC GTN and the pop up GTN. Open the collapsed section below for details. Spoiler ============== In RealityXP.GTN.ini, add the following sections at the end. [GTN_750_1.POP_NO_BEZEL] popright = 15531 nobezel = true brightness.screen = -40 [GTN_750_1.UNPOP_RXP] popright = 15531 ============== In panel.cfg here is what my settings are.: [Window Titles] Window00=Main panel Window01=Clipboard Window02=Mini controls Window03=Payload and fuel manager Window04=Map Window05=Quick radios Window06=Maintenance hangar Window07=Pre-flight inspection Window08=AFK Window09=none2 Window10=dbg Window11=none3 Window12=none4Window13=GTN 750 //added //------------------- [Window13] Background_color=0,0,0 size_mm=700,580ident=15531 // NOTE that this value must match the popright = value in the RealityXP.GTN.ini file //window_pos= 0.760, 0.5650 window_pos= 0.200, 0.5500 window_size= 0.240, 0.4350 zorder=99 //gauge00=F1GTN!GTN750, 0,0,937,887,UNIT1.POP gauge00=rxpGTN!GTN_750_1, 0,0,700,580, UNPOP_RXP // note that the UNPOP_RXP in the line above refers back to a section in RealityXP.GTN.ini //-------------------- [Vcockpit00] Background_color=0,0,0 size_mm=1024,1024 visible=1 pixel_size=1024,1024 texture=$reticle gauge01=A2A_PA24!code_pa24_r, 1,1,1,1 gauge02=A2A_PA24!status1,2,2,2,2 gauge03=A2A_PA24!damage, 3,3,3,3 gauge04=accusim_xml!code_s, 4,4,4,4 gauge05=A2A_Accusim!lua, 5,5,5,5 gauge06=A2A_Accusim!AVS, 6,6,6,6 gauge07=A2A_Accusim!events, 7,7,7,7 gauge08=A2A_Accusim!random, 8,8,8,8 gauge09=A2A_Accusim!storage, 9,9,9,9 gauge10=A2A_PA24!code_pa24_m, 1,1,1,1 gauge11=gps!gps_500, 0, 0, 1065, 675 gauge12=A2A_PA24!number, 779, 502, 240, 67 gauge13=Comanche!avionics, 0, 576, 1024,447 //AVIONICS DLL gauge14=A2A_PA24!GPS_F1_750, 1, 1, 1, 1gauge15=rxpGTN!f1vc.xml,0,0,1,1 //added f1vc.xml as gauge15 //--------------------------- [VCockpit03] size_mm=1024,1024 pixel_size=1024,1024 texture=$GTN750 background_color=0,0,0 gauge00=rxpGTN!GTN_750_1, 0,0,677,794, POP_NO_BEZEL // Note that the POP_NO_BEZEL refers back to a section in the RealityXP.GTN.ini file //--------------------------------------- Then, create a subfolder to the Comanche's panel folder and name it "rxpGTN". Carefully take the text below that falls between the lines of equal signs and paste it into a text editor such as Notepad. Save the file into the rxpGTN you created as "f1vc.xml". When saving the file, choose File Save As, and for file type select All Files (*.*), and on the filename line type the f1vc.xml. If you do not do so the file may be instead saved as "f1vc.xml.txt" and it would then not work. So after saving it verify the filename in that folder reads "f1vc.xml". ===================================================================== <Gauge Name="f1vc" Version="2.04"> <!-- Reality XP GTN Buttons Bridge --> <!-- Bridges Reality XP GTN 750/650 Touch with f1 3D bezel --> <!-- Credits: Reality XP, Sean Moloney and Ryan Butterworth --> <Element> <Select> <Value> (L:F1GTNMOUSE,bool) 0 != if{ (L:F1GTNMOUSE,bool) 0x0001FA01 - sp0 l0 28 / int sp1 l0 28 % sp0 <!-- map F1 model to RXP GTN unit --> <!-- use: 8 0 8 0 for 652=unit2, 651=unit1, 752=unit2, 751=unit1 --> <!-- use: 8 8 8 0 for 652=unit2, 651=unit2, 752=unit1, 751=unit1 --> 0 0 0 0 4 l1 case 4 2 l0 1 & ? + sp1 l0 0 == l0 1 == or if{ l1 (>K:GPS_MENU_BUTTON) } l0 2 == l0 3 == or if{ l1 (>K:GPS_DIRECTTO_BUTTON) } l0 4 == l0 10 == or if{ l1 8 & (>K:GPS_BUTTON2) } l0 6 == l0 11 == or if{ l1 8 & (>K:GPS_BUTTON3) } l0 8 == l0 9 == or if{ l1 (>K:GPS_BUTTON1) } l0 12 == l0 18 == or if{ l1 8 & (>K:GPS_GROUP_KNOB_INC) } l0 14 == l0 19 == or if{ l1 8 & (>K:GPS_GROUP_KNOB_DEC) } l0 20 == l0 26 == or if{ l1 8 & (>K:GPS_PAGE_KNOB_INC) } l0 22 == l0 27 == or if{ l1 8 & (>K:GPS_PAGE_KNOB_DEC) } l0 24 == l0 25 == or if{ l1 (>K:GPS_CURSOR_BUTTON) } l0 16 == l0 17 == or if{ l1 (>K:GPS_CURSOR_BUTTON) } 0 (>L:F1GTNMOUSE,bool) } </Value> </Select> </Element> </Gauge> =============================================================== If for some reason the .xml file does not work for you after creating it, send me a PM here on Avsim.
