Go to {SIM}\PMDG\PMDG 747 folder and open the options.ini file. What do you have under the Panel state entry?

Not at the PC right now, will have to do this, probably within 30 minutes.

Only one entry, Madrid after Kyle told me to delete all panel states.

It’s called, in all caps, CARGOLOGIC JACK.

It has the engines running, ready to set up the FMS.

This is not the default one. Most probably this one has the RTE loaded that way hence why you see it.

Make it as follows

[Panel State]
StartupPanelState=

And save. This will load with the default panel state

This does not have that route saved!  I never flew CargoLogic air to that city pair.

PLEASE go to the top and read what I originally posted.

You are loading a panel state. The only way to FMC to initialize on that state it's due to the panel state.

In this screenshot you can see the 747-8 CDU.

See the route?  It's KSAN to KSTS.

I had made a flight in the NGX and this was the city pair.

So when I finished the flight I shut down P3D 4.4 and rebooted the PC.

I then loaded the 747-8 and was going to set up a route from KATL to KMCO but look what I got.

I went to the PMDG flight plan folder for the 747 and not one PFPX flight plan.  But this one was in the NGX flight plan folder.

So how in the world did the 747-8 get this NGX flight plan?

All I could do was take a flight plan I created in PFPX for the 747 and load it via COROUTE.  Then I had the route.

I am telling you what can happen. Form the moment that you are using a panel state to load the plane the FMC and other plane systems will load what that panel state has in it. I can not know why and how. The best solution is to start with the default one as I described.

Since Kyle had me delete the panel states and create one like he suggested I have NOT had this happen.  Not once.

So I made a flight to THIS city pair yesterday in the NGX.

THEN, I shut down P3D and THEN rebooted.

THEN ran P3D and loaded the -8.

How in the world after a reboot of the PC does it load an NXG plan into an entirely different plane, this has never once happened to me.

And I have never once flown the 747 to these city pairs, only the NGX.

Something is not quite right here. I may be wrong.

When I try to request or load a CoRoute, the FMC always redirects me to login at ACARS first. And only after first in the FMC of the 747-400/400F and now the -8i, after inputting the Departure Airport and Arrival Airport, plus the Flight No., will ACARS open up. Only then after that has been filled out, on returning to the FMC can I do a Request Send for the route, Then it shows me the PFPX-created and saved route.

The top image doesn't show a loaded plan. It shows that you've manually browsed into the RTE REQUEST prompt.

If you saved the panel state with that page displayed, it will display that page upon re-load.
