Hello Jim,

The pic' shows the default scenery altered around west Scotland.  If this is caused by Orbx scenery Scotland, then I though I had removed everthing relating to Orbx before doing the 'repair' to FSX.  Anyway, I will always be using photo' scenery in Scotland.  So I supposed it best to leave everything as it is. 

I have followed your precise order in which to do the 'repair' to FSX and acceleration installation, and it seems I now have a successful 'repair' !
