PMDG 777 GS problem

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am experiencing this weird problem with my GS (ground speed) everytime i put my throttle to idle it decelerates rapidly. According to pilots i know, when the aircraft has a momentum during taxi and put the throttle to idle, the GS will slowly decelerate. Also, when i tap the breaks it decelerates rapidly as well. I dunno if this is a PMDG bug or what. I have FSUIPC 5 installed and i cant figure out the problem.

I hope someone can help me.

Thanks,

Francis

The pmdg b777 doesn’t have a custom ground friction model like the b747 has.

I assume you have set your brakes to toe brakes on your rudder pedals? Please check that your brakes have null zones set. "rapidly" indicates that your brakes drag.

and check that there are no flat tires. (CDU Menu - PMDG options, aircraft, failures)

The 777 doesn’t have the custom ground friction model. The sim’s default ground friction model is about as accurate as a ground covered in peanut butter.

Also, please be sure to place threads in the appropriate sub forum. This being a 777 thread, it should be in the 777 forum. I have moved it.
