Im amazed.... AddonOrganizer fixed it 🙂

Nothing amazing about it ;o)

Please be aware that if you reinstall the scenery, its add-on.xml will probably revert to its old self, and the layers are lost again.

Best regards

AO found some duplicates and cleared the indexes, the whole order is different now but everything works...

Use it like you would use the scenery library dialog. You can change the scenery layering to your liking with it, and it will stay that way. Yes, for the add-on.xml based sceneries too. I run it every time a new scenery or other addon is installed. The other main use case is adding legacy scenery, it will create the xml files for you. There is a pinned thread about this in the Lorby freeware forum on this site.

Just don't use too many scenery tools - stick to one.

Im gonna read that yes.

The main reason for Simstarter over Lorby was the ability to set cores to certain apps. I usually free my core 0/1 from load of apps like activesky, chaseplane etc. Probably invest in process lasso now.

Thanks again for the help ^^

SimStarter and P4AO can live happily together, they have a different focus. Just be careful with scenery manipulation, use one or the other, but not both for this.

Normally yes, and you don't have to add them there, the simulator does it for you (= autodiscovery). But not in V4.4, which is what this thread is about. Im V4.4 all addons pool up in the ProgramData file. This will hopefully be changed again in the next P3D version.

Best regards

Oliver,

I use your scenery tool and a quick query, an FSDT Exclude shows on my list in purple?

Should it be that colour? Thats what it was by default?

If the folder is empty, then this would be normal. Some versions of P3D V4 didn't start when there was an empty scenery somewhere, that is why it is highlighted.

Fab thanks for the replies. Just wanted to check if it was normal; and it seems as if thats the case.
