Camera Position

Featured Replies

Hi Friends and Folks,

I've set a good presets for VC (Captain seat, f/o seat, pedestal, etc) but when the plane is fly, banking left or right, the camera moves slight left or right, and it has been different position like i set before. How to keep the camera still in the position?

This is a known issue with FSX that has been fixed in early versions of P3D.

We currently don't plan on making a fix for that FSX issue in ChasePlane

I have this issue all the time. So to confirm, if you have FSX then the fixed view positions are not fixed at all only the STARTING point is fixed? Does it reset to what we saved the start of each flight or will we keep on needing to adjust and save every view during and after every flight? It is the biggest problem with overhead, pedestal and pilot forward views of MCP and ND/PFD. In other words every important one.

Not even the starting point is fixed. It depends on your latitude and how long your aircraft is.

Well my aircraft doesn't change length during and between flights does it?

😉

Maybe it does, who knows! New tech Elon Musk would be interested in!

It would be related to the latitude of your aircraft then

I'm just glad you did not answer my comment by commenting:

"actually, regarding changing aircraft length, as you approach the speed of light....."

Glad you are not THAT person!
