Hi, Im installing a new sim and also want to start with a fresh install of win 7 

whats the best way? I was thinking just reformat the drive .

If I were you, I would do a full hard disk check for bad sectors and treat it, and then I would install a new Windows 7

The few times that I have reinstalled Windows involved reformatting the C drive.  That erases all traces of Windows and allows for a clean installation.

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.
