I am using the latest version of FS2Crew (January 2019). I noticed the captain no longer does any safety briefing during the departure brief, there used to be a mentioning of what should be done if a failure is detected below 80 knots, between 80 and v1, etc etc...

Which sound set are you using?  Try a different set.

Hi Bryan,

I've tried both EU1, UK and US2 and EU2. Just after mentioning nacelle anti-ice on or off, the captain just skips to the part about being over or under max landing weight. This happens whether "same crew" or "crew change" is chosen also.

I just looked at the code, and I removed that part from the brief.

I'll have to dig through my notes to refresh my memory why I did that.

Thanks for checking. I thought at least for the first flight of the day, or after a crew change that the captain would include such items in the brief.

I removed it deliberately, but I can't find in my notes why I did that.

Maybe it will come to me.

 

I just put this brief back in V1.4, which I plan to release this weekend if all goes well.
