March 20, 20197 yr Hi all, Thinking to purchase this new release. The modeling looks top quality work. Anyone has an idea of its systems modeling - accuracy? https://secure.simmarket.com/a1r-design-bureau-a1r-yak-12a-p3d4.phtml Simulators: Prepar3D v5.4 | X-Plane 12 | DCS World | MSFS 2024 | PC Hardware: Dell U3417W | AMD Ryzen 7 9800 X3D | ASUS TUF 5070 Ti | ASUS TUF B580 Plus Wifi | G.Skill Z5 Neo 64GB 3000Mhz CL30 | Samsung 990 Pro 2TB + 970 EVO Plus 1TB + 860 EVO 2TB + 850 EVO 1TB, Western Digital Black Caviar Black 6TB | Corsair RM1000i | Corsair 280 Titan RX | VRM Fan | Fractal Design Define S2 Gunmetal | Flight Controls: Fulcrum One Yoke | Virpil VPC WarBRD Base | Virpil VPC MongoosT-50CM Grip, Thrustmaster Warthog+F/A-18C Grip | VIER IM POTT Sidestick CPT Side | Thrustmaster TPR Rudder Pedals | Virtual Fly TQ6+Throttle Quadrant | Sismo B737 Max Gear Lever | Monsterteck Desk Mounts | WINWING EfisL+FCU+MCDU | My fleet catalog: Link
March 20, 20197 yr From what I read on the reviews on simmarket it looks like the model is extremely nice and FPS friendly. However, the gauges in the VC are in russian... so if that's a dealbreaker prolly not a good investment.
March 20, 20197 yr A1R makes lovely addons for low cost. I have their Yak 55M (works fine in P3D v4) and it is amazing. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
March 20, 20197 yr Author Thank you for the replies guys. Ryan thanks for the feedback, it's weird that I didn't know this developer until today. I bought it and I'm impressed. The modeling is one of the best I've seen both inside and out and the plane flies nicely. Now, I'm not a real pilot so I can't comment on authenticity, but for sure it flies smoothly, the sounds are very nice and it can be an easy to operate sightseeing low and slow aircraft. From the pics on the site, it doesn't seem to have an autopilot. Does anyone know if it does?
