How about a "SUMMON" feature in FSX?

Featured Replies

Yesterday I was reading an article about Coastal Command Ansons in WWII being summoned to rescue downed airmen. The word "summoned' made me think how nice it would be to have this feature in FSX.Imagine flying somewhere and having the option to click on a menu tab and summon another aircraft to come to your area, select your type, and even define how close to you and what course you want it to fly and the AI engine doing it for you!!!Or, being at an airport and summoning another aircraft to appear at a spot you specify, take off, or do whatever.Or, being on a grass field somewhere and summoning a helo to come to your rescue....I haven't the foggiest if this could be done, through some type of AI engine, or some other tool, but I imagine it is feasible. If in CFS2 one can call a/c to appear at a certain time and place through the MISSION Builder, why not in FSX?Feedback is welcome.

Why?

I'd rather be able to summon Cthulhu or a thing from the Dungeon Dimensions.

With the animated birds and giraffes in FSX, we'll probably be able to summon THEM too. :) All you need is a bit of wildebeest hair and some phosphorus and...Rhett

you just need to make the sign of 7+1 in a strong magical field...

> Why would you want to have a "Mission" work in MP mode?Let's say there is a bushfire. It's going to take a long time to put out the fire by yourself aint it?

Discworld. The 7+1st colour is the colour of magic. He who says the number 7+1 invites disaster.
