I can only get my S550 up to 29000 MSL is this correct?  I thought this plane can go to 43000.

Is there a trick to get past 30k? ONce past 29k my speed dropped off very quickly  so I decended to 29k and I was all good.

These are the 'tricks';

Thrust levers full forward  (N1 = 106%).

A too low indicated air speed is another reason for a lack of climb performance.

Climb speed below FL250  should be 200kias and above FL250 Mach 0.50.

Temperature not above ISA and/or weight below max T/O weight if you want to climb to FL430.

Reduce weight, reduce fuel, or...insert this:  [jet_engine]

                                                                      thrust_scalar= 1.15  //1.02

Well, cheating due to wrong aircraft operation isn't a serious option. This isn't ace combat.

People like you make the forums an unfriendly place. Furthermore, you suggest nothing to offer as a solution. I see you checked back several times looking for a response. Your sarcasm is not tolerated. Enough said.  Don

? Did you even read/understand my initial reply to briansommers?

'sarcasm not tolerated' Are you serious?

Judging by your aggressive reply, I assume you are just having a bad day, so I'd suggest you stay away from the forum for a while.
